Trains between downtown Toronto and the airport resumed Sunday morning after emergency upkeep work suspended service on Saturday.
The Union Pearson Specific, operated by provincial transit company Metrolinx between Union Station and Toronto Pearson Worldwide Airport, lowered after which halted service on Saturday attributable to upkeep points.
The service was initially lowered to an hourly practice after which, within the early afternoon, it was utterly suspended and changed with shuttle buses. The rationale cited for the unscheduled disruption was “sudden upkeep.”

In a press release despatched to World Information, Metrolinx, the provincial transit company that runs the service, stated a hairline crack within the brake discs was discovered on a few of its trains.
In a tweet on Sunday at simply after 5 am, UP Specific stated it could resume half-hourly service for its trains.
“Thanks on your endurance as we made some vital repairs to our trains,” the tweet stated.
