HOUSTON (KPRC) – A Texas man is accused of chasing down and killing an individual who allegedly scammed him out of cash whereas posing as a parking attendant.
Authorities say the scenario began when 29-year-old Erick Aguirre was out on a dinner date in Houston.
Based on courtroom paperwork, Aguirre and his date have been parking in quite a bit when 46-year-old Elliot Nix approached the couple claiming to be a parking attendant.
Nix reportedly got here as much as the couple and requested for $40. Aguirre paid and walked into a close-by restaurant along with his date.
“There was a waiter who knew that the man was scamming individuals for parking and he suggested them, ‘Hey, that man is scamming you for parking,’” Rick Detoto, legal professional for Aguirre’s date, stated.
